Hi. My name is Alexis Cintron, founder of Ancient Womb, an integrated practice to help you reclaim your center, your inner sanctuary. I empower people to rebirth themselves to their next tier of growth, ready to ride the wave of life with grace.
This is my journey story.
As a child, I vividly recall the sudden upheaval of my parents’ divorce, which profoundly shook my sense of security. My environment remained physically safe, but internally, I grappled with newfound uncertainties that left me feeling displaced. Amid this emotional turmoil, I experienced isolation, loneliness, and a profound miscomprehension of the world as a four-year-old.
In my early years, I sought external love to fill internal voids which led me down a dark path of self-destruction and self-deception. My one constant solace was found with Mother Earth, where I sought refuge from the overwhelming flood of emotions that bred anger, frustration, and resentment.
Mother Earth, with her ever-changing seasons, cradled me in a subtle embrace, enveloping me in an intangible quilt of scents, sensations, visuals, tastes, and the melodic whispers of the wind. It was this natural world that later gifted me the language I needed to heal and recalibrate the misconceptions nestled deep within my core.
I am profoundly grateful for my trials, as they paved the way for my transformation. Through my training from the Ayurvedic Institute, I saw that disease is caused by an imbalance or stress in our consciousness. As interconnected system, our mind, body, and spirit need to be alignment for us to be able to thrive in the world.
I continue my certification and apprenticeship in somatic practices in movement, sound, and touch. For over a decade, I have guided hundreds of people to reclaim their center and stand in their own power through my integrated therapeutic modalities.
